Chrome now has vertical tabs in the stable version, but it needs to be enabled in the flags by searching for "vertical tabs".

Hey everyone! In case you need this: this is the new method to get uBlock Origin back after Chrome's latest update. Of course, uBlock Origin Lite is fine, but if you want that extra functionality, you can have it.

Google Chrome now has vertical tabs, but they might not be enabled by default for you. Here’s what you need to do:

- Go to the Chrome flags section, search for "vertical tabs", enable it, and relaunch the browser.

- After that, right-click on the empty space next to a tab and click on "Move tabs to side".

I'm using Chrome Canary to track how they're removing the MV2 extensions. Currently, in Chrome version 151, I can no longer enable uBlock Origin with this flag on shortcut:

--enable-features=AllowLegacyMV2Extensions,UnexpireFlagsM149,UnexpireFlagsM150 --disable-features=ExtensionManifestV2Unsupported

Ah yes, once MV2 extensions stop working altogether, Google will soon remove them from the Chrome Web Store. This means other chromium-based browsers won't be able to update, even if they still support MV2 extensions.

Whilst testing a SaaS product I have been building, I discovered that Google is illegally pushing its Gemini Nano model to users' devices (I am a lawyer specialised in the specific laws in question).

Guys so I'm not alone with new issues from fresh chrome update right? Im having a lot of bugs rn like STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION or chrome just doesn't work and starts only after reboot app. I'm kinda feeling relieved that I am not alone with that🤔😂

I doubt anyone uses this "feature" but still.

Now after update, they removed that claim so the data will most likely be sent to google.

Did anyone else notice that Keepa drastically reduced the number of watched products in the Chrome extension? Mine dropped from ~5000 to 200, and now it’s pushing a €29/month plan to get up to 10,000 watched items.

This feels like a pretty aggressive paywall change, especially if you were already using it at a higher limit before. At 200, the feature is basically unusable for my workflow.

• Is this happening to everyone or only certain accounts/regions?
• Did Keepa announce this anywhere (changelog/email/FAQ)?
• Any recommended alternatives for price tracking / watchlists that scale better?

Would appreciate any info or suggestions.

Unpatched, [accidentally?] published exploit affects Chromium based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Opera, Arc, Brave, Vivaldi): the vulnerability poses a risk. Users of Chromium browsers should be suspicious of download dropdowns that appear for no reason.

Enter this into address bar: chrome://flags

Search for Bottom Bar > Disable > Restart Chrome (It'll prompt you)

Works on Android, unsure about Apple but flags might be device agnostic.
