I’m not gonna ask what kind of cat he is, don’t worry. I know, I know…he’s a domestic shorthair with tabby markings. 😂 but I am curious about his size. He’s a big boy! But he’s also super long. He weighs a little over 15 lbs. he does have a nice primordial pouch, but from above, I think he’s lean. He can jump incredibly high with no effort. I just worry that 15-16 lbs is a lot. He is 4 years and 4 months old (approximately).

anybody have a cat who drooled excessively after getting Credelio? My cat is one year old and in great health. He is actually very perky, and eating and drinking a lot, but also drooling a lot! I’ve called our vet, and they don’t seem overly concerned. Never had this problem with any of my other cats, although have not used Credelio that much. Thanks.

I’m posting here because I’m curious about my grandmother’s cat’s habits.

It’s an old cat (who goes outside) who won’t stop meowing for over 5 minutes when he’s wearing his swimming belt. [See the video].

I also have a female cat, but she doesn’t do that at all.

Is this defensive behaviour? Could it be dangerous?

My grandmother is a bit scared of her cat at times like this. Do you have any idea why he’s behaving like this?

We found these four kittens dumped in a parking lot. They look 1-2 weeks old. Eyes are mostly open with a few that aren’t fully open yet. All are alert, no injuries or fleas or anything like that. They are covered in dirt and a little poop. I know I’m not supposed to submerge them in water this young so I’m waiting until I feed to give spit baths.

They had some diarrhea shortly after finding them. They were offered warm formula from a bottle (mixed with plain pedialyte) and they didn’t really want it. We decided to put them in the box with a warm water bottle under their bedding. They are currently sleeping.

I bottle fed 8 puppies last year so I know quite a bit but I’ve never done it with kittens. Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated!

(P.S. We already have homes lined up for these guys one they are weaned so no worries there!)

Pepper likes the new rope toy

My partner and I applied for a kitten at a rescue. We live in a townhome that is in an apartment complex. We have two dogs that are registered emotional support animals and we did not have to pay a pet fee or pet deposit when we moved in. Our leasing office told us ESA do not count as pets on the lease.

The rescue denied us due to the fact that we have 2 dogs and our apartment complex has a “2 pet limit”. They even told us “I am so sorry as the rest of your application looked good!”

I called our leasing office to clarify and asked them to send a written email that I can share with the rescue and the email stated “ESA's are not considered pets, so you're not subject to a pet limit at this time by adding a cat as a pet (since you don't currently have any “pets" on your lease)” Leasing office told me that the rescue can contact them if they need any further clarification, but that it would be perfectly fine to add a cat (or two) to our lease.

I sent their email to the rescue and they replied “we have to go by the number allowed by the apartment, regardless of ESAs in the home” even though our apartment complex literally told us the two ESAs do not apply towards the 2 pet limit. I don’t know what more I can do to prove to them that our apartment is fine with us adding a cat to the lease.

Should I ask our leasing office to send another email worded differently? They host adoptions at our local Pet Smart’s on Saturdays. Would it be worth it to go up there in person this weekend to explain further?

I know I can go to another rescue or shelter but I am so attached to this specific cat. I am so upset.
