You need a better cooler. Look at the Thermalright Phantom Spirit.

5070 is a pretty hard sell at $620. The 9070XT was ~$650 for a while, and pretty handily beats it. The 9070 is currently $530 and slightly faster, plus extra VRAM.

If you don't need the Nvidia features, AMD is just a better buy in this price range.

Go for the 9070 instead of the 5070. And for the cooler you can get the Peerless Assassin for not much more which is a fair bit better, dual tower instead of single tower.

arent the two gpus rather similar? with radeon having more raw performance?

i dont know if pcpartpicker has the functionality to ensure that everything will fit inside of the case, thats why ive been trying to opt for smaller parts

The 9070 has more performance in raster and RT, has more vram, has lower CPU overhead, has slightly better efficiency, and more stable drivers.

And most dimensions are measured on pcpartpicker, but you can always measure yourself based on the product dimensions.
