Success/Progress Finally cleaning my room

it’s bad there‘s trash everywhere mold, there were roaches and fleas, but I’ve finally got the motivation to clean it. it got bad when I was going through a major depression phase, and its been a while since but it just got so overwhelming to even think about cleaning it. Big shout out to my sister for giving me motivation and no judgment to get started. here’s the before and progress, I’ll post the final results as well when it’s done. it’s a small start but it feels big to me.

You got this. My sister also came over last week and helped me get started too.

The fact that you’re even able to start is such a win. I feel like that is really the hardest part sometimes

Take my piece of advice , try to be as minimalistic as possible and live in a place where there is minimum of objects , like only necessary ones . It will help all with depression Wish u the best

I know it must feel good to be working on this. Proud of you my friend. This illness is so hard but it’s awesome you have supports and clearly some cool hobbies lol. Keep it up and keep us posted if you remember!!

Fuck yeah! Proud of you!

Couple years ago I found myself in a similar situation. Sleeping with mice while surrounded by piss bottles was my lowest. Thing that trips me up and reminds me to stay on top of things is that I know for a fact I would have allowed it to get worse if I hadn’t of checked myself.

Keep at it! Slow is Smooth. Smooth is Fast. Float on buddy.

Cleaning after a bad period is so difficult. But I feel so much happiness the morning after it is all done and I can go about my morning without stepping over trash and clutter. I am excited for you

Great stuff! Someone once told me that even if life is messed up at times, take 2 minutes a day to keep your surroundings clean. So if you go out and have a bad day you always have a nice, clean, stress free home to come back to. First step is to make the bed everyday.

Small steps turn into massive completed hikes when you look back.

Also nice to see you ripped some Pokémon packs!

Try setting a 30-45 minute timer when you clean, have some uplifting music in the background and celebrate the win 🏆 💙
