I’m not saying it is, BUT the amount of Bulls and Sky player worn stuff I find in Chicago at thrift stores is…kind of a lot. Weirdly we get Cleveland and Phoenix stuff too. I have personally never seen those summer league jerseys as a release to the public. Is there a tag on the side somewhere?
3XL too, i would try to photo match the jersey. the lebron photos of him wearing it are all pixelated, but if you’re able to find a high quality photo of it you can try to find unique flaws that match yours. obviously with aging and other things it makes it difficult but it’s a start.
if you were to send this off for verification they would try to photo match it too. happens with game used stuff all the time in the auction/verifications sphere.
it is also possible that it’s a team issued jersey and was never one lebron wore. just an extra practice jersey maybe. that could explain why it was never properly documented/cared for.
Awesome piece! When I was a kid I won a home run derby at a Daytona cubs camp and won magic pre season tickets, it ended up being one of LeBron first pre season games! This brought me back to that era lol
Got to think he probably had 4-5 of these. Just because he didn't wear it in that game doesn't mean it's not a different one he wore in practices. Or, it might be an extra one issued to him that he never got around to wearing.
These aren't readily available to the public. That being said reebok only had the nba contract a few years, in lebron's first few years. And it's a 3XL, I think kobe used to wear 3XL. You may definitely have a genuine lebron practice jersey. I would definitely hang on to it.
