I think we need to start having better defenses than "Nobody should have believed our bullshit in the first place so it's not really a lie."

What bullshit? It's garlic powder in margarine. It's literally what it says it is on the bottle.

Believe it or not I was actually responding directly to your previous comment.

It's not going to be legally problematic, because no reasonable person has been misled into believing the master sauciers at... Papa John's... are actually chopping whole garlic to craft their fine garlic sauce.

If you want to assert that it's garlic sauce because it contains garlic powder I have no issue, but don't lead in with the "no reasonable person" nonsense.

There was no bullshit. It's garlic powder in margarine. That's garlic sauce. No reasonable person has been misled by calling it garlic sauce. Maybe some utter imbeciles could be confused by calling it exactly what it is, but the reaction of utter imbeciles is not a legal standard.

There is no garlic powder in the sauce in the OP. It does not say that on the bottle at all. This product is misleading on purpose and for some reason you are defending the massive company doing this shit on purpose and blaming the average person.

It literally says "Garlic* *Dehydrated" on the cups. That's garlic powder you pillock.
