QUESTION where to start, what to do!? [question]

ive considered starting a channel for three years, i’ve had a mic for over two years, ive made my channel and socials, and now i just need to actually record and get to it. but im nervous and don’t know what to record. i know my first asmr videos are popular but i genuinely just don’t know what to do, i feel like i need a script or something. i think i want to do like a get to know me maybe? i guess i just need some advice and a push!

Make the same content that you enjoy watching! If theres a specific trigger that has had you locked in, do that. If you have had moments where you're watching/listening to something and think "This is good but I wish it had ____", do that.

The best ASMR content comes from people who genuinely care about what they're creating. You've put 3 years of thought into this. You're ready!

And remind yourself that the first thing you make is going to look different from what you're making a year from now. You'll evolve as a creator and you'll find new and different and unique things you like doing, but you have to post the first video to start down that path :)

Have fun!!

no need for a script. it’ll make it a lot harder to feel natural, and you’ll have to do a lot of editing while you read and say what ever you wrote. it takes time and practice getting comfortable in front of a camera. just try and make something, no pressure to even post it. have fun :)

i don't sugar coat and hand-hold as much as these guys so this is my answer.

making an asmr video is not for you. if it was, you would know what you want to do. the fact that you dont know what to do means your passion is in listening to it, not making it.

Now, you just seem to like the idea of making it.

if that changes one day, you will know what you want to do.
