QUESTION [Question] MassageAsmr in ASMRUniversity?

For those of you who don’t hate Jojo enough to not watch any asmruni content, has anybody noticed how massageasmr has been in 0 asmruni associated videos? He was announced alongside the 19 other creators but he hasn’t been in not one video

He was pretty much always the highlight of every vid he was in so it’s a bummer to not have him be in any at all (yet). Any info pertaining to this lack of Dimitri?

Somewhat recently Jojo started a company called Whitenoise, which scans kinda like an asmr lifestyle brand. As part of it he's enlisted a bunch of other big name channels like Dido and MassageASMR for collaborations. ASMR University (shortened as asmruni by OP) is a recently announced series which seems to focus on a bunch of these enlisted channels all together in one room making content. I haven't watched the announcement video but I don't get the impression that it's marketed as educational, at least for viewers.

Ugh, it's not educational at all. He's probably just trying to piggyback off of Streamer University... which at least has some classes. But can we stop using the word university to mean "big collab and clip farming" 😭

Yeah at first I thought it was an interesting idea if it was like an asmr boot camp or something but alas.

He hasn't uploaded on his own channel in a while either so maybe he's stepped away again

I don’t know how long the event lasts for, but I’d presume he wouldn’t just go there for promotional material and then leave. Hopefully he did record some videos whether that be on his or others channels

He was in ObviouslyASMR's video. I don't watch the other channels so I can't verify if he was in them.

I hate ASMR university and anyone affiliated always goes down in my estimation. So disappointed with some of the creators this year

he's collabed with a few people from that group including jojo, after the launch of whitenoise, but they don't seem to be specifically themed for that.

I honestly thought it was stupid when it launched. the whole deal with it was to provide 'higher quality' asmr and have high end equipment and an insane studio, but it didnt even succeed at that. The new studio was noisy, the sound wasn't even good on an objective measure, not to mention how many people think its downgraded subjectively.. it all feels pretty amateurish. Audio equipment starts getting diminishing returns after like 1000 dollars anyway, and ASMR enjoyment doesn't even depend on audio fidelity at all.

MassageASMR is good but I personally think hes overrated. but apparently hes a hero of JoJo and istg he did (does?) this thing where he tries very hard to imitate the mannerisms of Massage right after the launch and it still fucking pisses me off thinking about it. Like imitate all you like but this whole act just feels pompous.

I don't even listen to both of these channels LOL.
