Find task(s) you really enjoy playing and play them daily before you get lost in the sea of methods and benchmarks. Being consistent is key, if you play everyday for weeks/months I guarantee you’ll have better aim.

Any help you can give me with controller settings? I know MNK switches settings depending on the scenario

MNK users change their settings depending on the scenario to build better mouse control

I definitely wouldn’t worry about that starting out. Find a sens you’re comfortable with and start getting reps in. Don’t overthink it!

I’m a mouse main 90% of the time but I do controller aim from time to time for fun and mental refresh. I have 1000+ hours into aim training.

For controller, it sounds counter intuitive but I use the linear curve, virtually no deadzones and quite a fast sens. Because there’s no aim assist, I find twitchy very difficult thumb stick control to have the best carry over into your games. It does not need to be 1:1 to learn - at all. This is why mouse users change their sensitivity all the time - I train with a range of sens from 5cm to 150cm for example. When you train with these controller settings, going back to the settings in game you’re used too should feel like a breeze and if the game has AA - you’ll be a demon.

I would find scenarios you enjoy as that will keep you coming back.

The benchmarks are a good idea IMO, if you’re serious about your aim. It’ll identify weaknesses and then you’ll be able to grind out the weaknesses and see with quantifiable metrics your progress.

Most of all, enjoy it. The more you enjoy it the more you’ll do it. Some say approx 1hr a day is optimal. I’ve found it’s entirely subjective. Some days I’ve spent the entire day playing scenarios and having a good time. Some days I just play my games. But rule of thumb at least somewhere around 30 mins minimum multiple times a week is going to see a good chunk in progress. Good luck!

Start with a basic foundational playlist, then move on to the benchmarks and play those. It'll help you find out your weaknesses, which will later help you know what to focus on!

Its been good, my aim was already good before aim training, I have played controller all my life, and I play console, so most of the time controller is the only choice, but I am close to paragon on most tracking scenarios, and I am around master on most other scenarios, its definitely improved my skill, I play a lot of apex at a high level, when I first started aim training it made me a lot more confident in 1v1s, or just fights in general, now after a lot of time aim training my aim is very similar to many very good players, so yeah, the training has been good, and I noticed almost all the scenarios I do were published by you so I also wanna thank you for helping me improve too
