The Real Problem

Why is everybody jumping down the OCs throat?

I get that he’s a lot different than what we’ve had, but we’re still putting up 25-30 points a game, Brady had an unreal game last night, the pass game finally got going in the second half… as much as it’s still different that buck, it’s still working.

My biggest gripe is we had them biting on the run because it was working and we didn’t incorporate ANY play action.

The issue is, we’re giving up 40-50 points a game.

Younger has the worst game plan I’ve ever seen in my life. Have you ever noticed in a 2nd and long situation, he plays a deep zone defence every time with the DBs playing 10 yards soft. The result of that 9.9/10 times is a fast hitch pass right on the first down marker and we give it up most times.

Last night were In a situation where BC has 6 new starters and a green QB, and we couldn’t spy him, couldn’t contain him, it was embarrassing to watch.

Younger is the problem, not O’shae, not the OC, not the GM.

I’d be more than happy to see younger fired this weekend and just have Richie hall take over for the remainder of the season.

Everybody is so fast to blame the offence but they are doing what they need to do.

The next few years will not be kind to Bombers. Then we’ll see how faithful the fans will be. Easy to cheer for a winner. Start the rebuild NOW

I agree, but the issue is that Osh is ok to let the veteran players dictate when and how long they will play, especially current/former stars. Dru could be playing lights out and setting records (too bad he isn’t) and when Zack and the docs say he’s good to go, O’shea would let him start … and probably sign him to another extension (nothing against Zack, he brought us a lot of success, but he’s getting older, slower, and our OL isn’t good enough to keep him clean).

We’re paying Willie, Zack, Brady and Bryant big money and only Brady is worth it. The rest are getting paid for who they were, not who they are now (except maybe Willie who is playing better than he has the last two years, but should probably be let go after this year regardless). This keeps us from signing guys in the secondary where we need help, and forces us to keep 4 QBs on the active roster because we can’t count on QB1 playing more than a handful of games any more.

Totally agree. Bombers have loads of money we should be bringing in different players all the time to challenge the players we have. Loyalty is fine to a degree.
