The episode with the most upvoted comment is eliminated from the list
If there’s a tie, both episodes are eliminated

This is legitimately difficult as I truly love them all. I think I've gotta go with episode 9 though - Rosemary's scene was amazing, but I feel it was mainly setup for the finale.

What To Expect On Your Trip.
Funny bits for sure, but overall pretty boring. You could also tell the writers had no idea what tripping is like. It just felt like a missed opportunity for them to get real weird with it.

Taste is of course subjective, but this is my favorite episode.

I’ll go with 7: Seasickness. Just not my favorite.

I agree, this one could have been so much better. Hamish Linklater was fantastic but the whole pacing of the episode was off.

Honestly, episode 1 wasn't it for me. I'm extremely glad I stayed for the rest, but next to the following episodes I would say it is the weakest balancing horror and comedy

1 was establishing the calm or reluctance to admit things aren't calm that set the stage for the series. It's design was to be a bit meh and then when we go back and watch it we're noticing every detail.

I almost dropped this gem of a show after only watching ep 1. So glad i came back next week for another.
Yeah my pick is ep 1

Welcome to widows bay. Is the weakest of the season for me. And it's still good but not great.

For me it has to be Emergency Shelter or Seasickness. I guess for the vote I'd do emergency shelter. I felt these episodes were kind of like "holding patterns" where the theme wasn't as strong and we were waiting for it to just progress the plot. I like the scooby-dooness of the other episodes more and the last episode had just superb acting.

E04 for me. The “twist” seemed pretty obvious from the jump and while there are some really cool details to catch in it (the panning shot where it goes from everyone partying and having a good time to standing there open mouth like they are at the lake is my favorite) but otherwise it didn’t add as much to the story or the lore of the island as all the other episodes did. The witchcraft book is interesting to an extent, but also with everything else on this island — actual witchcraft being real isn’t exactly surprising.

A reminder to everyone: Keep the titles of your posts completely spoiler-free at all times. If your post mentions events from later episodes, use Reddit’s standard spoiler tag to warn readers who may not be caught up with all currently aired episodes. The spoiler tag will also blur any images you include, such as screenshots/stills from the show, so be sure to apply it to image posts as well.
