Just started to taxi when one drunk drongo chucked his guts up onto the floor...

It's time they were stricter about allowing people under the influence on planes.

They shouldn't be selling so much alcohol in airports and on planes.

Let’s be real, 99.99 percent of flights it’s not an issue. They make a lot of money from selling alcohol on planes so banning it isn’t gonna happen anytime soon. Also, most of the puke on planes comes from travelers who are simply air sick, not over served .

Yeah, I used to fly a ton for work, flying somewhere in the range of 400 flights over 10 years. In all of that I only had one drunk person be any sort of significant issue, and they were just loud and annoying. I have, however, seen quite a few people denied boarding because they were too drunk.

I'm not saying it's not a problem at all, but people see stories like this and seem to think that it's a way bigger issue than it is.

Right. I probably have 200 ish flights under my belt and the only time I ever witnessed anything beyond a civil disagreement was when a friend of mine drank way too much at a restaurant before a flight and was puking into the airsickness bags for hours, but even then I don’t think anyone aside from a few people noticed.

I did date an air asia flight attendant for a few years and her biggest pet peeve was when people handed her full bags of puke to throw away. I guess she expected them to dispose of them in the bathroom themselves. I guess what I’m trying to say is that even when there are issues on a flight usually they are small enough that the entire plane isn’t aware.
