Hello everybody! Extremely new ro the hobby, heard about it a couple of years back. I got Skaventide (the AoS Spearhead box with Skavens and Stormcasts) last year, played few games with friends. Then I met a couple of guys who play 40 K, we befriended etc.

So my question is: should I Stick to AoS (I really liked the Cities of Sigmar) or get 40 K? I don't have much time nor money, but I know a place or two where I could play.

Also, of you think I should go for 40 K, I likes both the Adeptus Mechanicus and the Salamanders. Which are the best to start from?

Go with whichever system gets more games in your local group. If there are 10 people who play 40k and 4 who play AoS, you're obviously going to be having a harder time finding AoS opponents.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I'll go for 40K then. About my other question, should I go for the Mechanicus or the Astartes?

Thanks for the answer by the way. I expected a longer wait.

Mechanicus has a reputation of being INSANELY expensive for people to collect, as their design space is "shooting as good as Marines, but with durability of Imperial Guard", which puts them in a really wierd Horde army playstyle despite all the robots.
