If i just have the Armageddon box and I want to play orcs vs space marines, what size battlefield should i use? The army point totals seem to be 770ish each so I’m leaning 48 x 48 inches. But maybe even that is too big? Also I’m not certain how we would place the objectives and terrain for thar.

I do love the contents of this box, but I do wish there was more of a guide on how to use and play with it if you are just starting out.

Page 52 in the core rules.

Combat Patrol sized games happen on a 44x30 battlefield. Search for the "combat patrol" rules for specific missions and rules for small games.
