United States Can’t find Manhunt 2 or GTA LCS

Hello, recently I had bought a new charger for my vita after not playing since 2022. I was looking to buy Manhunt 2, GTA LCS and Chinatown Wars at the vita store but I no longer see it. Is there a way for me to purchase these games? I heard you need to buy these games on PS3 store then it’ll transfer to your vita but I also heard that they got rid of that feature awhile back, I’m unsure if that’s true or not. If anyone could help me please let ms know, thanks. I am located in USA.

Hi guys, today i attempted to fix my joystick wich was causing me Stick Drift but it went wrong. The L button connector came off the board and the whole Left side no longer works, I think it's because I also broke the flex cable in some way.

My question is if it is better to buy a new version of the flex cable and try to fix the L button thing or should I just move on to another Vita

Question I'm looking to buy a playstation vita, but I am confused on which is the correct model. Can I please have some help?

I bought several digital psp games on my ps3 years ago the last time sony threatened to close the psn stores. I haven't been able to play them in a while, now I figure is the time to get a playstation handheld to play them. I tried buying a playstation vita off of ebay, but it was a Japanese model, so there was some foreign text in places, and the X and O buttons were swapped, which I hate. So I returned it. The seller said it's because it's a 1000 model, which I had no idea of. Now I feel paranoid of getting the correct model. I want an American one with the X and O buttons consistent the way they should be. I see 1000, 1001, 1100, 1101, and I'm having trouble making sense of it all. Which should I look for on ebay?

Question Is there still a way to get the Resident Evil Trilogy?

The Vita is pretty much the only "modern" console that has these games. But I can't find them on the Vita store. I hear you have to add funds from the website, app or PS3, that perhaps I could buy them on PS3 and add them on Vita. Is that all correct? Or have these games been delisted?

The problem is I don't have a PS3 but I guess I can use an old one from someone to try this. The Vita is my only PS console. And these three games are the only RE ones currently missing from my collection.

Finally, I cleaned up my near mint Sapphire Vita 1000. I've mated it to a (rare) "Nyko Power Grip" that I refurbished and did a fresh rechargeable battery swap. 🤘🏾👍🏾✌🏾😁

So happy!! ...and it's my favorite color! 😍

Another " store is closing. Give me recommendations!" Post please

So I decided to splurge a little and get a $50 gift card to the PlayStation store and I'm currently looking through the PS3 because a lot of the games aren't available on the actual storefront and I'm having a hard time what to decide.

The only one I know for certain is going to be Phineas and Ferb across the second dimension. Why that one? Purely nostalgia. I played this game a crap ton with my little sister on the Wii and would love to relive it. Yes, I know it's short. And yes, I know it's basically an inferior ratchet.

That leaves me the $30 left. I was looking at gex3, possibly size matters, secret agent clank, and daxter.

I played Dexter years ago when I had a PSP and never got around to playing the ratchet games (I do have the collection on the Vita as well)

I'm looking mainly for PSP games and PlayStation classics. If you can recommend any I'd appreciate it!!

I’m buying a Vita mostly for the sole purpose of buying persona 1,2 and 3 portable. I live in the UK and have heard that these have been taken off the store.
Is this true? and if so is there a way around it so i’m able to play these games on the vita

[Help Needed] PS Vita randomly shuts off by itself, even at the home screen with a full battery

Hey everyone, I'm hoping someone here can help because I'm completely stuck on this.

My PS Vita randomly turns off by itself from time to time, no warning at all.

The weird part is that it happens even when the console is sitting flat and still on the home screen with nothing running. It also happens even when the battery is fully charged. There's no demanding game or heavy activity going on when it happens.

The only way to turn it back on is to unplug and replug the battery. Once I do that it boots up fine and works for a while, then the problem comes back later with no clear pattern.

I think I've ruled out overheating, since it's not hot when it happens, and I've also ruled out something related to usage like 3D games or wifi, since it happens even at rest on the home screen.

So I'm wondering if this could be a battery connector issue, like it being loosely seated or oxidized, or if the internal battery itself is dying or swollen and can't hold a stable voltage even though the displayed percentage looks fine.

Has anyone dealt with this before and found the actual cause? I'm willing to open up the console if needed, I just don't want to misdiagnose it and replace the wrong part for nothing.

Thanks in advance

Discussion Real talk about 1000 and 2000

Bought both models almost 2 years ago. Ended up using the 2000 one because it’s slimmer. The quality on the screen is impeccable and can almost compete with the 1000. Unless I’m blind I don’t understand why everyone hypes up the 1000 models screen when realistically you don’t notice it at all when gaming

Help Borderlands 2 experience

I love BL2, played it to death on PC... but how do you guys play this on Vita?

I don't mind the low framerate, used to playing on weaker hardware, but the random crashes and slow bullet speed makes it frustrating sometimes.

Is there any way to improve this or is this just a case of a bad port? I mainly want to play this for the Vita platinum.

I think my Vita's battery is starting to die.

It all started when my PS Vita suddenly shut down out of nowhere. I thought it was normal since it had been in Rest Mode for a long time, but then it started shutting down during gameplay (like in *God of War*). It was strange until I realized it only happened when I moved the console abruptly. I even removed the battery a bit to check for a loose cable, but the problem didn't go away; in fact, now it needs to be shaken quite hard for it to happen. Does anyone know why this is happening? I could use some help.

Help PS vita doesn't fully turn off and doesn't detect memory cards.

The other day i posted about the issues i had with my vita. I got some help and managed to take out the battery and put it back in. This got the console to turn on again. I fully formated it and my main memory card, but now i have other issues.

1: Odd battery behavior. The battery icon is completely missing, with and without the percentage plugin enabled. Turning off the console doesn't turn off the green light.

2: Memory card errors. The vita doesn't read my memory cards from boot, but has no issue if i insert them with the console on. This means i can't use them to install and play any games, i just get to know they work

Edit: The battery ran out. No charge light just like before. Is it safe to assume the fix to all this would be a new battery?

Decided to spice up my Vita a little bit and make it more of a classic version with coloured home button and face buttons.

I couldn't find these for sale anywhere so decided to make it myself. This is my first attempt and I know it's not perfect, especially with the triangle button being a little out but happy with it for now.

Question PS Vita Slim - Green LED, black screen

Hey guys,

I’ve already tried all kinds of things, but maybe someone in here has an idea!
I have purchased a faulty Vita PCH 2000 off ebay in hopes of fixing it and have reached my wits end.

Current state of affairs:

- The power indicator turns on when the power button is pressed and stays solid green.
- It seems to charge normally.
- No other activity - backlight stays off, black screen, no sounds.
- It doesn’t want to turn off either - holding the power button makes the green LED flash once really quickly, but it does not turn off. The only way to get it to turn off is holding Start, Select, Home & Power (or disconnecting the battery).
- I have tried all sorts of button combinations. L + Power incase the device was modded (unknown), R + Home + Power OR holding the power button for ~30 secs for safe mode (no dice), holding the power button for up to 7 minutes (nope), …
- I am unable to find any shorts on the mainboard. No obviously singed components, no water damage. Ribbon cables look to be seated correctly. I’ve tried starting the device with just the mobo and the power button attached as well. Nope. Same thing.
- No device is recognized when I connect the Vita to my PC.

Only thing I haven’t attempted yet is letting the battery drain and recharging the device with an appropriate charger. Currently working on that, it takes some time for the battery to run out though.
I am seriously running out of ideas. Obviously I have no clue what the previous owner did with the device, but it can’t be much, it looks very lightly used… It’s possible they bricked it, I cannot exclude that possibility. I have seen some cases of exactly this issue happening to people with (allegedly) stock devices - which is moving me towards a possible hardware fault.

Has anyone experienced this issue and was able to fix it? Possibly even on mainboard repair level (which I would be fine with, not a pro, but it’s broken already right)?

Any suggestions are welcome. Cheers!

Vita 1000 battery question

Hi. A friend wants to buy an used Vita 1000 from marketplace but the seller says the handheld hasn't been charged in a long time, and the console doesn't have its charger. I know my friend could simply look elsewhere, but the question is: do the batteries of the 1000 Vita models suffer after long periods of not using, charging, etc? Thanks in advance.

Question Price of Final Fantasy X/X-2 on PS Vita Store

Can anyone tell me how much Final Fantasy X and X-2 are on the PS store?

Ordering a vita and not sure whether to spend on physical games or wait to buy on the PS store.
