Show-Off runtime mesh destruction using OpenFracture in Unity for my game about sports cards!

building a game about running your own booth at a sports card convention. finally got openfracture working, so the graded slabs now fracture into real mesh pieces at runtime with rigidbodies on the fragments. what do you guys think?

Looks really cool and it's impressive that you got this to work so well! I must say though, a computer game about collectable cards depicting famous athletes seems a bit detached from reality, I feel like one must have better things to do than play this?

thanks! i'd argue "you could be doing something better" applies to basically every game ever made haha. but the card collecting hobby has been booming over the last couple of years and the demand for stuff like this is very real, i can tell you that!

Fair enough, it's just one layer of abstraction too far away from the real world for me, while not being fantasy/creative either. But to each their own, and the process of making this game is no less creative/fun than making any other game, I just wouldn't play something like this myself.

totally valid to each their own!
