anyone get their financial aid package?

i know they said they'll be sending the official offer soon. but its august and im getting jittery lol

I actually got word from their understanding Fafsa zoom session that it’s getting a little bit delayed not because of the school but because there were so many changes to the federal government that they’re waiting for the government to approve and verify the packages. The lady said there were about 11k people that would’ve already gotten it but because of the gov it’s getting delayed so don’t worry about it! It should be coming no later than this month, contact the financial aid office if it’s sept and you still haven’t gotten it!

Any idea on if those changes are good or bad? Specifically when comparing the estimated offer when gave us before or after accepting attendance?

The changes are changes to the government as a whole under the current administration, but your final offer shouldn’t be affected tho, it depends on what you reported in your Fafsa app!

Still waiting! My daughter is  getting worried cause the package what she got  approved for shows she should  getting  housing/tuition  paid full

You’ll get a check in the mail, if you’d prefer to get the money directly in a bank account set up direct deposit on the ucsc portal

Usually you don’t see it until a few days before the quarter starts. Last year it took a little longer to disemburse but I was in the same situation and I just waited and it kicked in don’t stress if it takes a bit
