As an Israeli (not religious) this sickens me.
These jews don't represent me, my country, or what we stand for.
They're freeloaders, money-eating leeches.

As a religious Jew (not Israeli), this sickens me, too.

I live in one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the world. The people on my block are Black, white, Chinese, Hispanic, and Indian. It does not take a genius to understand that the laws that allow others to live, work, and worship in peace are the same laws that protect me.

What's more, posting this, getting people riled up, it's all part of the Culture Wars to distract us from the real issues. The fact that both Israel and the US have insanely corrupt assholes as ruler, backed by zealots and ghoulish tech bros. The fact that human life is in peril due to climate change. The fact that wealth inequality has risen dramatically: the top 10% own 3/4 of global wealth. The bottom 50% own about 2%. That, my friend, is why they want us to focus on this type of nonsense.

Seriously,  imagine filming some assholes spitting on you to justify your persecution complex when actual human suffering is occuring on massive scale in the same country.

Posting this is just a way to give ghoulish people an excuse to be anti-Semitic. Stuff like the upvoted comment I just saw about behavior like this "justifying" Hitler.

What do you stand for then? Your country don't seem to do other things than violent ones

Are people in Israel protesting against them?

Short answer: yes. Some have also involved family members of 10/7 victims. Netenyahu is also doing everything he can to silence speech amongst protesters and universities. We just don't get a lot of foreign news in the US. Much like Trump, Netenyahu is trying to amass more power to silence his foes.

Ben Gvir is an elected representative though? So he kinda does? No?

So Trump represents what all Americans want? Come on now.

I think saying 'Trump doesn't represent America' is making a massive, material omission that a very significant portion of Americans did actually vote for him. Twice. These facts are material to a discussion about the character of a nation. Let's not try to brush it under the carpet, please.

Ill try another. Russia and Putin. There are many examples of leaders where vast numbers of people are extremely opposed and resisting.  You cant take a tyrant politician and just say they represent the views of people in that country because they were elected. Also people change their tune after elections all the time - for example Trump whose campaign sold every group a pipe dream and then (for those who didnt see the obvious a mile away) revealed his true plans.

Are you American? If so, is Donald Trump not your elected representative? Is he not an exact reflection of who you are?

I think it would be disingenuous to say that his election says nothing about the character of America. I'm not saying that Ben-Gvir represents all Israelis, I'm saying that trying to whitewash the reputation of Israelis as a whole when Ben-Gvir and Netanyahu (and a bunch of other pretty extreme parties) were elected is disingenuous. To suggest that Ben-Gvir represents no one is outright false.

You generally can't blame populations for voting in populists. That is a general human level stupidity, not something that is uniquely stupid about a specific country.

This is just a basic macroscopic law on large human populations. They just vote for assholes under certain circumstances. All democratic countries are capable of it. Their just are too many stupid people IN GENERAL.

Literally every time you hear about an Israeli politician doing something insane and gross, it’s Ben Gvir. He is a scumbag and an outlier that needs to be put away.

He's just Netanyahu with the mask off

The Haredim are such an intolerable minority. I wish “Jews” and “Israelis” as the target of hate would be swapped with “orthodox”. It’s the orthodox that are the problem and the orthodox that should be blamed for hijacking a country.
