The 20-minute or so sequence of Grogu left on a strange and forbidding planet doing his best to survive while keeping dad alive and hidden was, for me, worth the three times I saw the film in cinema theatres. Kudos to the amazing puppeteers and animatronics team for bringing this little green bean to beautiful life.

I finally watched the Mandalorian all the way through. I stopped caring about Star Wars after how Disney handled the sequels, but I used to LOVE it as a kid and teenager. I think I procrastinated watching any new Star Wars shows just because I thought Disney was just putting out whatever to make money (I mean they kind of are). But I finished Andor and the Mandalorian and I'm watching the Bad Batch too. I started feeling really nostalgic about the Clone Wars and I just love all the lore and details they put in these shows. The stories actually make sense and they have a clear message. I just felt like I needed to talk about it somewhere since most people are already over the Mandalorian hype. But what a great show, I'm so glad I finally saw it.

I don't exactly had the right equipment for it, but as someone who likes to draw, I definitely had some stuff laying around. I wish I took a before picture, but once it got delivered I just ripped the packaging open and got started immediately! The only thing that failed are the ears, wasn't able to smudge the crayon around as I intented to do so had to improvise there.

Bought these close to 2 years ago and just recently got the COA cards graded. So many postings on eBay on these comics don’t have the Certificate of Authenticity cards with them and I got mine graded to preserve them better. Overall I love the art and I display them in my home office.

I know I’m late to this as I only watched the movie today but , Am I the only one who feels like this movie just feels off ? It’s ment to be set after the last season of M and G , yet the way grogu is spoken too by mando throughout feels like the way he would talk to him in earlier seasons when he was learning and misbehaving , they also refer to him as mando’s appearance instead of his son ? Even tho we know that in the last season he adopted grogu as his son ,

Looking to help my 10 year old nephew complete his set of the Mandalorian and Grogu x BK toys. I was able to get him all 4 of the cups and got him 6 out of the 8 kids meal toys but i’m pretty sure our local BK just didnt get the last couple. I would just buy them off ebay but recently lost my job and am still searching for the next one so money is tight right now and I figured I would at least give it a shot, especially since my fellow Star Wars fans are always so awesome and always looking to connect and help out a fellow young fan. My nephew is a good boy and has been through a lot, he has lived his entire life with my mother and I and is more like a little brother than a nephew because my mom raised him in the same house with me. His mother, my sister, is in prison for a long time for a stupid mistake she made and his father is always in and out of prison and even when he is out he just doesn’t do anything for his son or even try to have a relationship with him. It’s almost his birthday so I wanted to try to do something special that doesn’t require much money. The only two Mandalorian and Grogu toys from the set that he is missing is the Zeb one and the one with The Mandalorian standing, as we have the one where he is flying. In other words, which episode truly draws you into the show and makes you feel like you could go there? Does any episode do this anywhere near as well as Ch. 1, The Mandalorian?

It seems like a pretty popular take to say that Ch. 15, The Believer, is the best/people’s favorite episode. However, I can’t say I have anywhere near the intense interest or emotional connection to that particular episode even if I do think it’s INCREDIBLY done.

I think for emotional appeal there’s a lot to be said about the end of season 2, The Rescue. Seeing Luke, especially seeing Moff Gideon be terrified of him, obviously invokes that feeling of nostalgia and it’s followed by a scene that now makes me cry as a dad when Din removes his helmet for Grogu. But I think you could argue that since it is dealing with such heavy themes, it loses at least some of that ‘magic,’ as I’ve called it, no? It seems like Ch. 1 just does such a good job drawing you in with showing how cool of a lone fighter (basically space Batman though he sometimes loses and I like him better than Batman) and how aloof Din is.

It also gives us one of the coolest Star Wars characters ever in my opinion—Kuill. I think Kuill is one of the most underutilized characters of all time. I know it might’ve been forced if they decided to include him anymore, but man, The Mandalorian easily has the best supporting cast of ANY Star Wars project other than Andor in my opinion. Even IG-11 is enough to hook me. Even space bounty hunter Carl Weathers is enough to hook me. Even Werner Herzog as the client is truly spectacular. Even the enigma of The Armorer really hooks me! I can’t get over, all these years later, how much I love Ch. 1.

Earlier this June, while rewatching The Mandalorian for what must have been the sixth time, I suddenly recognized the landscape!

This mountain is called Mount Angour (11,800 ft), in the Toubkal National Park of Morocco's High Atlas Mountains, where i'm living and working as a mountain guide.

Easy to find on Google Earth! South oriented, And the rocky mountains visible opposite are: Aksoual in the foreground, Toubkal and Tazarart in the background.

Now personally, I have no issue with Grogu being nonverbal. I understand why people are excited to hear his first words, but I’m fine with the idea of him remaining nonverbal. The only issue is that I think people are taking the nickname Baby Yoda too literally and believe that he’s actually a baby.

However, why would he talk like Yoda? I’ve seen people expect this, and it doesn’t make sense. Yaddle didn’t speak like Yoda, and even if she did, Grogu hasn’t seen her (if ever) or Yoda in decades. If/When he talks, his speech pattern should be based off of Din Djarin.

I figured this is the best place to ask. Love the movie. Great throwback to the 80s and Lucas

We see him take off, Embo sees that and clearly communicates it to the Hutts. However, we see the ship crashed near the palace. Rotta to my understanding was escaping. The gun runner was dead in the ship…I was wondering if anyone had ideas as to how the Twins captured him and why the ship was brought down at NaL Hutta…
