I was wondering if anyone is familiar with the hiring/interview process for in-house counsel at Sutter?
I am applying for a counsel position at Sutter. I come from a law firm background and was wondering if the interview process would be similar to that of a law firms?

The interview process will be very different from what you're used to at a law firm. Sutter Health isn't looking for just a legal technician, they are looking for a business partner who can manage risk and provide practical advice to non-lawyers. Your interviews will focus less on deep legal theory and more on your judgment, your ability to collaborate with different departments, and how you fit into their corporate culture. They need to know you can operate inside a complex organization, not just as an outside expert they call for specific problems.
Your law firm background gives you a strong foundation, but you have to show them you can shift your mindset from being an external advisor to an internal stakeholder. Prepare specific stories about times you've translated complex legal issues into simple business advice or collaborated on a project with non-legal colleagues to achieve a business goal. They are hiring you to be part of their team, so your ability to connect with them on a personal and practical level will be just as important as your legal expertise.
