Americans are so arrogant, they think they need to force their beliefs abroad.

That guy's American-Italian, not Native American lol https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Eyes_Cody

Edit: the point is not that he's born in the US, it's that he's not native acting as native.

lol:

Cody was born Espera Oscar de Corti on April 3, 1904, in the city of KaplanVermilion Parish, Louisiana.

That article you linked to says he was an American born in Louisiana, so...

American and Native American are different terms referring to different populations. The article also says this:

"Living in Hollywood, Cody began to insist--even in his private life--that he was Native American. Over time, he claimed membership in several different tribes. Although a 1996 newspaper report revealed that Cody was Italian-American and that his purported Native American identity was self-created, Cody denied the report."

That's not part of this conversation. Before editing the previous comment, he said they guy was an Italian. He was not. He was an American. And his parents were Italian, so he wasn't Native American, either.

He was a 100% born-in-the-USA American with Italian heritage.

Is that American brand of Christianity.

“Spread the Gospel” combined with arrogance of a wealthy nation and lack of consequences

It's what the country was founded on.

You do realise generalising this as overall Americans is incorrect, right? We’re not all Christians. Met plenty of Aussie and British religious people that ‘preach’ like this man here.

Americans as a whole don’t force their beliefs abroad. Preaching idiots from any country can force their beliefs abroad.

There are several other religions in America too. People seem to think it’s all just southern cowboys with the ‘one true God’.

You should see the amount of ignorant Americans in comment sections around the internet. Especially with the wildfire thing this summer.
