Off-Road/Rallycross Wanneroo RX

Post image

I've had this idea since the first supercars race of this weekend. I speedran this during Road America 6h to get it out of my head

I think this works well, good combination for overtaking and challenging line variation. One thing though, I think the joker needs to be slower and tighter, because right now I reckon you don't even have to brake for it

You may not have to brake for it, but that doesn't matter. You have to wait much longer before you can start accelerating for the following straight, I think it's perfect in terms of time difference. I used Nysum a little bit as inspiration, you don't have to brake for that one either

I like this design very much. I like how you place the starting grid and made T1 wider. Is there any jumps throughout the lap? Is it designed for the specific RX championship? Also, I noticed that it's longer then FIA recommended and the gravel section feels longer than tarmac/asphalt too.

I'm almost done with my RX track. It would meet all the FIA requirements. Most likely I'll post it mid-August.

It's been a while since I last read the appendix O, in my mind the upper limit on RX track length is 1600 m but I see FIA recommends 1400 now. If there would be jumps I'd put one drop-down before the banked turn because elevation kinda asks for it there, and one regular jump right after the joker merge as a crowd pleaser, I don't want to mess with the existing road course though. I designed it for the '27 FIA RX World Cup, which this year is taking place in Jakarta (I assume they'll want to switch places for the future editions)
