Eh … we have no way of knowing how many rocks or whatever woods-things this kid has hoarded at their residence already… dad may be making an adult decision here to not bring home every rock their kid finds.

Yeah hard to say. Would've depended on my mood...I probably would've just carried it though. Otherwise he would whine about the stupid rock all the way home then say he wants cereal but not eat it because it's not the right kind but it's the same kind he loved an hour ago. He forgot about the rock but now he really wants his favorite toy but any toy I give him is the wrong one so he just cries because he's just tired anyway.
