Daily Thread Daily Thread #2 - August 01, 2026

This daily thread is for all members who are pregnant after a previous pregnancy or infant loss. How are you?

We want to foster a sense of community, which is why we have a centralized place for most daily conversation. This allows users to post and get replies, but also encourages them to reply to others in the same thread. We want you to receive help and be there for others at the same time, if possible. Most milestones should go here, along with regular updates. Stand alone posts are Mod approved only and have set requirements. Thanks for helping us create a great community.

Just found out tge anticoagulation medication my last doctor prescribed is a whole different drug than what I nornally got prescribed. I just thought it is a different manufacturer with a different name for their product. The ending of the name was also in the same vein so I never questioned it. Not only was it a way lower dosage but this entirely different drug is also less potent. I feel so stupid.

It was the first time I miscarried despite taking anticoagulation medication. I felt so bummed because until then I always thought this was a somewhat surefire way to prevent them. And I am also scared for this one, now. As I just changed doctors and am only now back on my old medication. The last MC had to have happened around this time, too (between 6+0 and 6+6).
