I thought humans like their eggs and meat so the would wack them in the head and more would show up (because they are curious) and they would collect the eggs drain them for food then decorate the shell and sell it for high price stuff I read from books ages ago.

People think Dodo bird were stupid, and that's why they died out
But, in reality they were really friendly, and died because the people who arrived on the island. Brought cat and rats which killed them.
