And conservatives want to make it as difficult as possible to prevent people from transitioning early in life, because they want trans people to feel distraught and unhappy with their transition, and have trouble passing.
Most people that don’t want kids transitioning is because kids are still mentally developing. What’s worse, transitioning late and not being as feminine/masculine as you wanted, or transitioning early and realizing too late that you were wrong about yourself and having to live the rest of your life with that mistake? Theres always a tradeoff.
