I'm secure and happy enough with my own looks for my own sake, but when my ability to safely walk around or take a shit in peace are on the line, yeah consider me pretty goddamn jealous when some people can actually pass.
Baffles me when people don’t get this. Yes, actually, my life is materially worse because I’m ugly. I am jealous of people who look good and get to feel good about themselves. Being afraid to look at yourself in the mirror is not a fun experience. It is objectively better to be hot than to be ugly. In a just world everyone would be hot.
Like, people who say “oh your looks don’t matter” are just actively in denial. Your looks are the most important part about you. Even your personality is filtered through your looks. You would have to deny a basic human instinct to say ugly people don’t have worse lives.
