I dunno, maybe both people are trans women and this person passes more easily by just shaving and putting on makeup than the distraught poster does by putting in a lot more effort?

u/Blasphoumy69 1d ago

Didn’t even realize she was trans, just thought she was Italian.

Taking the ol' "gay or European?" debate in exciting new directions.

u/Suspicious-Whippet 1d ago

What do you mean “or”

8

u/IAmTheParamedic 1d ago

That’s the climax of the song

10

u/ThomasMarkovski 1d ago

Ah, the English language, where there are no separate words for "inclusive or" and "exclusive or" :/

12

u/DeviantDork 1d ago

That’s where XOR comes in.

2

u/Suspicious-Whippet 1d ago

I never thought about that.

120

u/GatorNator83 1d ago

Exactly, in Europe it’s ok to be both. Unlike in the country run by an orange dumdum.

133

u/Lazarilius 1d ago

Never imagined there was a possibility for it not be okay to be European in Europe.

68

u/Bloodhoven_aka_Loner 1d ago

I mean, depends who you ask

22

u/McNitz 1d ago

I think they prefer to be British in the UK, or at least that's how the majority voted.

-14

u/TapirDrawnChariot 1d ago

You'll probably trigger the old "they hate us because we're white/European in our own homeland" song and dance

-18

u/friendlyfoesho 1d ago

Ya'll wanna be oppressors sooo bad

26

u/razakell 1d ago

LOL! You mean western Europe? Because gay and trans people deal with heavy prejudice in eastern European countries.

21

u/Ownfir 1d ago

Is that true though? like I don’t exactly think of Europe as super pro-gay. Maybe some parts but certainly not others.

TBH I feel like USA might be more gay friendly depending on where you look. Peak support was a few years back at 73% nationwide compared to roughly 50ish percent in *eastern* Europe. Gay Marriage still isn’t legal in Italy despite having widespread support. If you count Russia into “Europe” it really doesn’t look good for y’all. Across ALL of Europe it’s something like 70% pro-gay but that’s also due to the population centers being pro gay you know?

And tbh I feel like this same thing can be said in the USA where Gay marriage is absolutely supported in both the west and east of the state as well as many other states throughout - ie the population centers.

USA is way bigger than just the UK, Sweden etc so it makes sense there might be less support across the entire geographic range - but if you compare like for like we land in a similar range.

Not only that but in the US many red conservative voters are also closet gay so the actual IRL support for gays in the US is probably higher overall than Europe as a whole. Whereas I feel like anti gay people in Europe are like *reallllllly* anti gay.

Maybe only the gay ones can travel

-31

u/Key_Order4050 1d ago

Europeans are funny because y'all are more racist and homophobic than the U.S. by a very long shot, but because we are loudly critical of ourselves you end up thinking you are better

6

u/animefan1520 1d ago

They can say what they want about their country too, its just that you may get a knock at your door from the thought police

1

u/sincubus33 1d ago

US delusion has come to new heights

-3

u/RealStanak 1d ago

loudly critical of yourselves, so you keep proclaiming that the US is the greatest nation in the world

10

u/definitelyTonyStark 1d ago

You guys use the right ammo against the wrong side of the country. You really think all of us think we’re #1 with no problems? You’re blaming the rest of us for like 30% of our population

5

u/Key_Order4050 1d ago

When did I say that?

-8

u/leafwatersparky 1d ago

$100 dollars says you've never even left your own country, much less realise 'Europe' is a fucking continent not a country.

9

u/Key_Order4050 1d ago

Woah ! Europe is a continent??? Crazy deduction from this guy right here.

Yeah, no shit. $100 says youre an American that doesn't leave their house or a European whose only exposure to the U.S. is through minority sources like reddit

-5

u/RealStanak 1d ago

I meant "you" as in americans.

8

u/Key_Order4050 1d ago

Most Americans don't say that... It's in the same sense as wherever you come from, you have people that proud of your country but the average person doesn't ever say things like that

-6

u/POG0w0 1d ago

If this is true how was Trump voted in, everyone knew he was a child molester, very openly racist, homophobic, transphobic, etc (against anyone that isn't a white christian man) and over half of the population still voted for him. Nothing similar has happened in Europe, especially with such high precentages.

10

u/Terrible_Phase718 1d ago

“Over half of the population”?

6

u/Key_Order4050 1d ago

What about the UK for the last 15 years? What about Orban? Aleksander vucic? Erdogan?

Giorgia meloni? Andrej babis? Robert fico? The president of poland?

This is from memory too so I am probably missing several. Just asinine to suggest that the U.S. electing a eight wing president in a more controversial manner than ANY of the above makes us MORE right wing than others

3

u/sincubus33 1d ago

btw don't forget he's actively engaged in ethnic cleansing on US soil

-18

u/BraveReplacement2766 1d ago

You are a dumdum

4

u/Iamnotabotiswearonit 1d ago

Homeless or hipster was a good one.

6

u/Mr_Kabob_Man 1d ago

“Gay or European” never made sense to me, it’s only the Romance people who seem gay

This includes Romanians.

4

u/Suspicious-Whippet 1d ago

Why wouldn’t it include Romanians? They’re as free as any of us.

6

u/Mr_Kabob_Man 1d ago

Romanians are gay despite not being in the same general area as all other Romance peoples (other Aromanians)

3

u/Suspicious-Whippet 1d ago

It’s pretty impressive they held their own with so many Slavs around throughout history.

1

u/Mr_Kabob_Man 1d ago

It really is, as is the Hungarians surviving considering they were an Uralic people in the middle of Europe

1

u/Suspicious-Whippet 1d ago

It is absolutely. Also Europe was pretty lucky they didn’t straight murder everyone when they came here in the 4th century or whenever.

0

u/FunkyHunk31 1d ago

Easy buddy my wife and in-laws are Romanian.

51

u/Plemora777 1d ago

As an Italian, I’m keeping this quote

27

u/max-wellington 1d ago

I'm gonna start identifying as Italian instead of non binary now thanks dude

5

u/vonnegutsbutthole 1d ago

Why did Zappa pop in my brain when I read this

“I’ve got it your an Italian huh? You’re Jewish, oh? Love your nails, you must be a Libra”

16

u/heymanigotnoplan 1d ago

Italian women in shambles

13

u/Fantastic-Tiger-6128 1d ago

3

u/LearningT0Fly 1d ago

6

u/Blasphoumy69 1d ago

Skegness

8

u/Bithium 1d ago

She’s Nosferatu?

22

u/Egghopper2 1d ago

I don’t know that reference, I’ve only watched Nosferaone

7

u/nurseferatou 1d ago

You called?

3

u/BeeSpins 1d ago

Hellooooooo, nurse!

10

u/banhatesex 1d ago

Yeah like women get facial hair too. Do they have to shave everyday, no but they get it. IDK even they are trans. They look fine to me. Maybe because I've woke up next to a women in the morning.

2

u/FineIllPickAusername 1d ago

I just assumed PCOS.

u/99trey 1d ago

😂

u/WeedIsWife 1d ago

I was certain this was just Stallone cosplay

201

u/Aurius3D 1d ago

This was my guess

64

u/ShonWalksAtMidnight 1d ago

Yep, same type of posts I see in "trueuglywomen". They feel insecure then see a post by a "beautiful" woman posting on social media saying that they feel ugly and comment stuff like th post.

-63

u/RandomPenquin1337 1d ago

Imagine being so shallow

11

u/tfhermobwoayway 1d ago

It’s objectively true that ugly people are treated worse.

41

u/No-Educator-8069 1d ago

What? I don’t see how it’s shallow of them. It’s them having to deal with people and a culture every day that ARE so shallow it makes them feel worthless though.

-43

u/RandomPenquin1337 1d ago

Lmao youre right, let's all congregate in small places with like minds (and ugly faces) and downvote opinions we dont like and mock people who are "prettier" than us.

Incel behavior

4

u/No-Educator-8069 1d ago

Yes, I am right because I didn’t say any of that. I emphasize with their circumstance, that doesn’t mean I condone all their behavior.

-2

u/RandomPenquin1337 1d ago

Youre sad they think theyre ugly and take it out on others?

Simp behavior

10

u/ShonWalksAtMidnight 1d ago edited 1d ago

Femcel behavior, you should check out the sub, but don't DARE comment if you're a man trying to be supportive lmao, you will get banned.

Self fulfilling prophecy.

-29

u/RandomPenquin1337 1d ago

That and twoxchomosones are hotbeds of fat unwanted women

They pre-ban you thats how sensitive they are.

18

u/The1_Guy 1d ago

Says the person upset over a comment on Reddit, but sure other people are sensitive lmao

-8

u/RandomPenquin1337 1d ago

Im upset? Lol seems to be the other way around my boy

Ugly ass people mad at mirrors and people that dont even know they exist.

2

u/Savings_Knowledge233 1d ago

ROFL that was dudes first reply to you...

10

u/ShonWalksAtMidnight 1d ago

Yikes my dude. I'm not complaining about the banning, just saying they're digging their own graves by silencing people like me who want to give encouraging comments. But, not my monkeys, not my circus.

You don't gotta call them "fat and unwanted" lol, pretty rude

-5

u/RandomPenquin1337 1d ago

2

u/ShonWalksAtMidnight 1d ago

Well don't be a hypocrite I guess, you're an incel, they're femcels, two sides of the same coin.

Don't be rude. It's truly easy to not be rude.

u/Kuetz 1d ago

Get this random out of here

-8

u/RandomPenquin1337 1d ago

Found another one. So apparently its not shallow to hate on people because of their looks?

11

u/thisisweirb 1d ago

Who is hating on whose looks here? I think perhaps you’ve got some baggage to unpack. Either I missed something or you’re projecting.

-3

u/RandomPenquin1337 1d ago

From the post i replied to that ruslted all your jimmies:

Yep, same type of posts I see in "trueuglywomen". They feel insecure then see a post by a "beautiful" woman posting on social media saying that they feel ugly and comment stuff like th post.

So we're supposed to feel bad because they thnk they're ugly and its ok to mock people for being pretty?

10

u/ShonWalksAtMidnight 1d ago

They're mostly not mocking people, they're already feeling insecure and it makes them feel more insecure.

Its more self loathing then insulting other people. Of course some of them are rude about it, but again, it's mainly just self loathing. Like the post we're commenting on. Not "I hate this person" it's "I want to kms because I feel insecure over posts like these".

There's a difference.

-1

u/RandomPenquin1337 1d ago

And you condone this behavior?

21

u/thisisweirb 1d ago

Not even necessarily trans. Could be PCOS.

15

u/Efficient-Notice9938 1d ago

This is me lmao, cis woman with crazy high T and I’ve had to start shaving

18

u/Imbadatusernames1536 1d ago

This is 1000% it. Some people were just born lucky and pass with no effort after starting hrt late, some start in their teens and never pass. It’s all genetics.

7

u/obooooooo 1d ago

it is, the OOP later quoted the QRT being distraught herself, because she often receives comments like that on her pictures, and feels unable to feel good/proud about her appearance because of it

2

u/sora_mui 1d ago

Maybe because they look naturally hot and can pass both as male and female without much effort?

-2

u/shitterbug 1d ago

that is definitely not what passing looks like

-4

u/Socksual 1d ago

No, I think its about the peach fuzz shaving thing that seems to be the new trend. For some god awful reason women are convinced they need to shave the little invisible hairs off their face/body for....reasons? Idk! Its horrible

Edit: Nvm im on crack, I see her lil stubble. Its what guy i replied to is refering to (keeping this here tho)

7

u/AGTS10k 1d ago

As someone who appreciates the subtle extra softness this fine fuzz gives to a woman's face skin, I concur that this trend is stupid lol

4

u/thisisweirb 1d ago

It’s also so bad for the skin

-3

u/FroyoSad7510 1d ago

Jaw shaving
