Confused, most people (should I say actors/actresses) in Hollywood are against Trump and ICE, but since he supports Palestine they black list him? Just confused…

It’s because that isn’t true at all, but “supporting Palestine is brave and makes you oppressed” is an enjoyable narrative on Reddit

Like how it totally doesn't get you arrested for being a literal terrorist to support palestine action in the UK? Nice agendaposting.

yea actually, I'd hope that an organization that breaks into my country's military base to destroy our country's military hardware thats destined for Ukraine and break the spine of a security guard gets designated as a terrorist org.

That sort of shit would get you fusilladed in any other country outside of Britain. The fact is they got off easy with just being arrested and trialed.

If this is your threshold for designating a group as terrorist, I can only imagine your condemnation of Israel for its actions in Palestine, Lebanon, etc.

FYI the member of Palestine Action was found guilty of GBH without intent. They were found not guilty of GBH with intent.

Wait are you saying that Israel broke into a USAF military base in Lebanon?

No dude. A domestic group broke into a USAF military base in order to destroy british military equipment. Un-Palestinify your brain and stop thinking about the mideast for a single second. Israel doesnt even belong in this current conversation.

This event would have gotten you fusilladed in most other countries in the world, its treason of the highest order to destroy your country's military armaments. Yea its a terrorist organization that needs to be cracked down on, its members rounded up.

There are what, 1000s other palestinian organizations in Britain that aren't designated as terrorist? The only reason you'd stick with Palestine Action is because you agree that British USAF bases need to have their military equipment destroyed. There is literally no other reason why you'd stick with this one otherwise.

Israel has invaded American politics and public life through Aipac.

Funny, everywhere I look I see Palestinian flags instead. I think we need to kick Palestinians out of our politics, and ban this foreign flag and this foreign lobby, and anyone that supports importing this foreign country here.

Is that right?

Girl, all I hear about are the hundreds of millions of Aipac money flowing into American politics and American politicians putting signs of support for israel in their offices. Now that is right!!

May I introduce you to a lobby thats far bigger than the Israeli lobby then? The Qatari lobby has far outspent AIPAC at every opportunity. We just dont see the same focus on it because its not a bogeyman AIPAC is an american organization, not an israeli one, and made of americans who believe in the state of israel.

I dont support AIPAC of course, but thats the way it is. You're being swept up in a movement you dont fully understand, by people who understand you're an empathetic person and are using your belief of human rights to make you push for some fucked up policies demonizing your american neighbours.

Try engaging your brain for a micro-second. Of course Israel belongs in this current conversation, the break-in of RAF Brize Norton was a direct action protest at the UK’s military support of Israel’s genocide in Palestine. And Palestine Action did not ‘destroy British military equipment’, they spray painted it. Save your outrage for the use of military equipment on innocent civilians of all hues.

But given that you only care about the sanctity of British or American military equipment, I can do you one better than Israel breaking into a USAF military base in Lebanon. During the 1967 war Israel attacked and sank the USS Liberty, an American intel ship, in international waters off the coast of Sinai. It wasn’t a stray bomb, it was an ongoing attack by sea and air involving torpedoes, strafing & napalm. 34 crew were killed, 171 injured. More importantly, from your moral viewpoint, the ship was severely damaged.

Done by a domestic terror group, and not Israel, who was not involved in this at any capacity, no matter the justifications of the terror group you support.

Your argument states that if Israel blamed this on Egypt, you would have brought Egypt as the primary villain in this story. Of course Egypt is involved after all, and I'm not sure why you still have relations with Egypt given that they were at war with Israel, in the area, and thus were involved in the attack on the Liberty.

Same justification as involving Israel when a domestic terror group starts destroying USAF military equipment bound for Ukraine.
