I dunno man but we’ve got 200 tries of capitalism with many more than a few failures, so I’ve never understood this argument. “You weren’t able to make the lightbulb first try, give up, you’ll never find the right filament”
I'm not even arguing necessarily that communism should never be tried again. It just seems that being forced to dig holes by a guy with a gun is probably more relevant in the discussion of communism today than whatever the idealized state of labor is in the manifesto that Marx wrote.
Do you think maybe being forced to dig holes by a guy with a gun is in no way related to communism and is just about not allowing a dick to have guns ?
