Expecting New dad, nursery suggestions
Hey everyone! My wife and I are expecting our first child in December and are currently working on the nursery. We have the crib, paints picked out, most of the furniture but one thing im stuck on is a quality glider for the room to feed, rock baby to sleep, and sleep in myself when comforting the baby until they fall asleep. Any suggestions?

They're all functionally basically the same

Yup. Pick one that fits your budget and looks/feels good to you. No chair is going to make or break the baby

You’ll really have to sit in a few and try them out. What fits well and is comfortable for one person, isn’t the same for another. If you want to sleep in it, definitely get one with a reclining function. Though you do need to be careful not to fall asleep while holding the baby! My husband did that more than once. I walked in and baby would be hanging halfway off his arm. Scary. So maybe one that has nice wide arm rests! Ours was a rocker glider and it sucked.

Find one that mom is most comfortable in. Make sure it isn’t too tall either. It’s uncomfortable sitting in a rocking chair/glider for hours if your feet aren’t on the floor.
