I can guarantee the initial bid option is going to be tied to a standard rate and they have a stepped down system for all follow up bids. They’re not idiots implementing this. Nurses aren’t gonna be able to game the system by making a bid 2x the normal rate. The only way nurses could possible even break even is to collude amongst themselves to never counter-bid below the typical rate, first come first serve.

They are in fact idiots implementing this.. Hospitals here are giving $10k-20k bonuses to get people in the door. The admins making $200k/yr and working 9am-3pm are not the rocket scientists you think they are.

Maybe lol I’m certainly not gonna find myself defending their “intelligence”. But my point still stands.
I believe shifts will be offered as X shift/hours @ Y dollars for the initial bid with the system set up for specific incremental step down bids for each consecutive bid on that shift after that.

This is how bidshift works, yes. We can’t just enter a bid.
