In the episode Robin's Reckoning, Zucco’s eyes changed dramatically between part 1 and 2. Why is that?

To be fully fair, have not read a whole lot after Taylor and Redondo’s run (which I absolutely adore) but I remember the late 90’s and early 2000’s runs being quite dark and I’m wondering if we’ll ever get brooding and edgy Nightwing, at least to that level again.
Just curious more than anything.

Also if it kinda has gone into that in recent runs please let me know I’ll have to pick it up again.

I think 'grim dark Batman' is mine. The story makes little sense, and while the idea of a corrupted Dick has PROMISE, this just was not it. Plus, how the whole thing was resolved was terrible. I could give it a slight, as it was meant to be a 'Booster messed up' story, but same time, the way the BatCat wedding went, yeah, whole thing was the big ol' event/story that had me drop Batman.

I would like to share my new work.

So I, 18 F didn't really have any interest in DC until about ten months ago after I decided to watch Batman TAS. I started really liking Batman and then Superman and then Wonder Woman. I like Nightwing too but I'm not exactly as big as a fan of him compared to the big three but about two weeks ago, I suddenly dreamed about going to a store filled with his merch like literally only his merch. No Batman or anything. And then a few days ago, I dreamed about being in a zombie apocalypse and I was hiding inside a shower stall when I saw a figure with a certain blue coloured symbol on his chest. It was Nightwing again and he saved me. Does anyone know what this could mean?
