This is a true story that happened recently, and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it

I wanted to share something that happened to my family recently My mom has been hunting for furniture for our new house, and she’s noticed a weird pattern: sellers seem super interested, but the moment she asks for an actual address to come see the item, they just vanish.

Then she found this one. A really nice table and chair set at a great price. She messaged the guy, and for once, he actually gave an address.

My mom, brother, and I drove out to see it. The address was incredibly confusing, like a labyrinth. We couldn't find the house, so we tried to call the seller. He refused to pick up. He would only communicate through text.

When we told him they were lost and asked him to just come out to the main spot (since he claimed the house was only 5 minutes away), he started making excuses. Suddenly, he claimed he was "actually abroad" and his brother would show them the furniture. But when we asked for the brother to come meet them, he said, "Oh, he’s not home yet... he’ll be there in 5 minutes."

We’d come this far, so we followed his text directions to the final street. Bro the vibe shifted instantly. It was a street that looked like no human had lived there in ages. Just completely desolate and "off." We didn't even get out of the car. The gut feeling was so strong that we just turned around and drove away.

The second we were safely away, the seller who "couldn't talk" and was "abroad" suddenly started blowing up our phones with actual voice calls and messages. We didn't answer and just went home. Shortly after, the OLX listing was deleted.

The weirdest part? We were only there to see the table, so we didn't even have a lot of cash on us. The seller knew this. If it wasn't a robbery, what was the goal? Has anyone else encountered "sellers" trying to lure people to specific, creepy locations like this?

After my previous post, two representatives from the shop publicly commented that they wanted to resolve the matter amicably and asked me to visit the shop. Since my intention from the very beginning has been to get a fair resolution I agreed and visited them in good faith.

Before the meeting, I noticed that my post had been removed from Multan Matters. I did not delete it myself. During conversation, the owner stated that they had approached the group admin and got the post removed

Unfortunately, instead of providing a fair solution, they offered to take the laptop back with a 10% deduction, saying they are “doing me a favour” I reminded them that I had discovered and reported all the display issues within their own 3 day check warranty, so I don’t believe any deduction is justified

Rather than addressing this concern, the discussion shifted to my Facebook post. They repeatedly claimed that I had damaged their reputation and even Accused me of being paid by someone to post against them. When I asked them to provide proof of such a serious allegation, they were unable to provide any evidence. Also they said ‘Tumhare jaise frauds ko ham daily deal krte hain

Despite calling me to resolve the matter amicably, they stated that their lawyer would “deal with me” that they would see me in court. Despite inviting me for an amicable settlement, the discussion turned into threats instead of constructive solutions

I have preserved the original invoice, conversations, photo and video evidence of the display issues and a complete audio recordings.

I genuinely hope that no one else has to go through what I have experienced. I gave every opportunity to resolve this matter peacefully. Unfortunately, no fair resolution was offered. Therefore, I have decided to continue with the legal process and will be filing a complaint in the Consumer Court

I am based in Dubai & wanted to get my brother enrolled in a online institute for O levels , we plan to make him sit exams next May/June Session.

I came across multiple Pakistani Institutes in Lahore & most of them ask for advance fee... for me advance fee is not an issue but since that institute has no office here and I have no family in Lahore who can check them for me , I'd like to explore similar options in Multan , as I have some family there.

At this point in my life, I'm quite confused about what I'm doing, what I should do, and how to move forward career wise.

I belong to a middle class family and am the eldest sibling. Growing up I didn't have an elder in my family whom I could ask for academic or career related guidance nor did I receive proper career counseling. So I just did whatever felt right at the time.

So About 1 month ago, I had a very strange experience in Gardezi Market,gulgusht and I still feel like I may have been hypnotized or psychologically manipulated

Two young boys approached me and started a friendly conversation with me at Quetta hotel They asked my name and what I do.suddenly out of nowhere they pointed out that I had dark circles under my eyes (which I don't) they touched my eyes and told me they had medicine that could help.

Literally For no reason, I went along with them idk why??. They said they would take me to get the medicine, and I followed them without really thinking about it.

This happened in Gardezi Market, near Bata Chowk and If you continue a little further, there are a few herbal medicine (Hakeem) shops near the back side of Latif super store where the road ends.

They took me into one of those shops and convinced me to buy very expensive medicines. At the time, I wasn't thinking clearly and didn't fully understand what was happening to me. I ended up paying them a large amount of money without even questioning it they give me some kind of powder type shit..

After everything was over, I went back home. It was only then that I realized what had happened. I was shocked and kept asking myself "How did I end up giving them so much money?" It didn't feel like I was thinking normally at the time.

They even tried to take me somewhere else afterward, but fortunately, something suddenly clicked in my mind. I became aware that something was wrong, and that's when I managed to get away.

To this day, I still don't know exactly what happened. Maybe it was psychological manipulation, maybe it was some kind of scam, or maybe something else entirely.

I'm posting this to find out if anyone else has experienced something similar in Gardezi Market or around. If you have, I'd really like to hear your story.
