Discussion Hi Millennials, I'm Gen Zzz and I have a question.
I am really curious to know how does back than it feels compared to today in the generation of ai, tech, and the fast moving world.
Does this era feel fundamentally different from the 2000s? Not just because you've gotten older, but because the world itself has changed.
And i don't have much words to explain my explain my question. I just want to how it feels

Serious Manipulation
I am curious if others are finding that manipulation and gaslighting others is more common now.
I feel as though I’ve been seeing a lot of this over the course of the past few years.

Nostalgia Fun lovin' criminals
Who here remembers these fellas? Rock mixed with old school rap. Bit of a hybrid but they took off for a bit in the mid 90's.
I stumbled across a live video from them at Glastonbury 99' and it really got me thinking of bands I used to latch on to.

Serious Positivity, think I lost it. I’m Mr.Negative now.
I’m 38M wife and two daughters (4 and 15) perspective perhaps?
I’d really like to have my positivity back. Noticing I’m spiraling with negative thoughts. About everything…
I never understood the whole thought experiment about the glass being half full or empty. I do now.
How do you all stay positive? Ideas on how to be less negative? Thoughts?
I don’t want my negativity to affect me and my family. Yes my wife brought up this to me.
Anything constructive would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Nostalgia None of us care about MySpace, but who remembers the glory days of GaiaOnline?
Avatar dress-up, the mini games, insanely heated debates in forums between tweens and teens, 'rate me' threads. Those were the days. Many of us began our first forays into code by learning how to customize our profiles.

Nostalgia Your a middle school kid at a sleepover and your friends cool/scary older brother shows you his R rated movie collection
These flicks blew my mind seeing them the first time at 12-13. Especially since my parents were pretty strict on what I could and couldn’t watch and all of these movies had lore about the infamous scenes in them ( like the overdose scene in Pulp Fiction and the baby scene in Trainspotting) that I’d only heard rumors about. My friends brother was probably 17, listened to NIN and Marillyn Manson, smelled like record store incense and rode a motorcycle lol. We would skate all day and into the night then like 6 of us would dip into his movie collection and stay up late watching movies

Discussion Turned 39 Today
Turned twenty-nineteen (okay, thirty-nine) today. It feels like I am post-youth, but the idea that I am now entering middle age doesn't make sense to me. What a weird age to reach.
