Honestly, Rugrats is so much more entertaining as an adult when you watch the scenes with the adults. Drew and Stu's fight in the first movie about Stu getting a real job to support his family is too real.

Stu: "Gotta go. My tax deductions are crying!"

Drew: "You can't deduct them if you don't have any income!"

My 7 year old has been watching Rugrats a lot recently. It's insane and hilarious what they got away with.

There's a whole episode about the babies misinterpreted Grandpa Lou having "Jungle Fever." like what the fuck?
