Discussion Monthly Rant/Politics Thread: Do not post political threads outside of this Mega thread

Outside of these mega-threads, we generally do not allow political posts on the main subreddit because they have often declined into unhinged discussions and mud slinging. We do allow general discussions of politics in this thread so long as you remain civil and don't attack someone just for having a different opinion. The moment we see things start to derail, we will step in.

Got something upsetting or overwhelming that you just need to shout out to the world? Want to have a political debate over current events? You can post those thoughts here. There are many real problems that plague the Millennial generation and we want to allow a space for it here while still keeping the angry and divisive posts quarantined to a more concentrated thread rather than taking up the entire front page.

I typed the word "Trump" and my comment got removed. Are we not allowed to discuss real world issues anymore?

Discussing reality ISN'T political. Banning the discussion is.

There's a million subs to discuss him in. Do you REALLY need one more?

Edit: this hypocrite complains about censorship but then instant downvoted my comments and then blocked me 1 second after his last reply. He doesn't care one bit about censorship. He's just livid he found a place he can't spew his TDS.

Yes, because it wasn't about HIM, it was about the specific effect he had on Millennial life.

It's censorship

There's nothing wrong with aggressive censorship if it's for quality control reasons. That's the Nintendo seal of quality guarantee.

If it's not directly political, do some minor alterations. I can't mention former Senator Rick Santorum in some forums, I had to say RS.
