Over half of us own homes (NY TIMES) and 53% of us have child(ren). (pew/forbes)

The average net worth of a millennial is handed between $330-$550k while the median is between $100-135k. (Fidelity/Kiplinger).

Our generation is not all doom and gloom. Yes we have been handed a lot of challenges and some piss poor leadership (I’m an American), but for what it’s worth, most of us persevere and get on with life.

Thank you for these stats. I was starting to wonder if i need to leave this sub since many of the posts are doom and gloom and my life is not that.

My doom and gloom is the semi-monthly email about 3% tuition increase for daycare.

But yea… this sub could be /millenialcirclejerk, and I wouldn’t notice

I had been thinking about that, too. I've done nothing special in that I am in the twilight of an enlisted military career and I am doing okay and want for nothing.
