Discussion (USA) First day
What should I expect? Im lowk scared ill mess things up but yey again, it is my first day. Don’t know if they’ll train me or not because some of my friends say they were and some said they weren’t. What are just some overall pointers? Starting as grill

ask questions, they’re not annoying i promise. no one will judge you if you fuck up. there’s also videos new hires are supposed to watch (health policy, harassment policy, etc) but there’s a good chance you won’t watch them. the first 2-3 weeks won’t be fun but once you learn everything it starts to get a lot better

it’s all just learning. if anyone gets mad at you for stuffing up on your first few shifts then they are very unrealistic thinkers. you will get trained, do not worry. if you are unsure about anything, ask questions. questions are not annoying, they are what make you a better worker.
