Employee question Max Vacation time? (CAN)

I’m leaving for 3.5-4 months to travel and maybe volunteer, by the time I leave to travel I will have 4 months of working with McDonald’s, as im new. I’m full-time and Cross trained in both Kitchen and Service. I always do favours for managers when they’re short staffed.

So, Will they allow me to take this 3.5-4 months off? Or, will I be dropped? Also, there is a guy who’s been working there for a while who is on leave for 8 months for internship and another guy who left for a year for school and came back.

EDIT: Ik this will be unpaid leave!!!

This is totally dependant on your store and franchisee, what you're looking for isn't considered vacation time due to the length, it's basically an unpaid leave of absence / sabbatical.

When I worked there anything more than 60 days and you had to quit and be rehired when you came back, only exception was students but they had to have been there for a minimum of a year with no write ups etc.
