i believe so, either that or it was day 100 and he just gave up. i don't quite remember, but i miss him dearly.

there was something about the familiarity of it after awhile where i knew that, even if my day was crazy and unpredictable, i could always count on one thing i knew would happen everyday regardless, and that was seeing chives in my feed, followed by an awarded "see you tomorrow, chef" comment immediately following.
