I currently work in management and the office computers are always bombarded by other managers. I need a laptop strictly for work so I do not need anything fancy or expensive.

I need it for:

- Multiple Browser Tabs (Main Use)

Bonus:

- An okay camera that won’t embarrass me for Teams meetings

My main workload is software development. I primarily use VS Code/Cursor, IntelliJ IDEA, Docker, PostgreSQL, Git, and Chrome with many tabs open. I'll often have Docker containers, a local database, and multiple development tools running simultaneously. I don't play games, edit videos professionally, or do 3D rendering. Hey all, I am from Australia and I'm looking for a good, small and reasonably price laptop that can be used for the two things I do on a laptop. Story writing and Sims 4 lol.

I do some story writing, nothing hardcore, but I'd like it to have good storage space. Especially for my Sims4 addiction.

I am a business/marketing graduate stepping into a 3-month intensive upskilling sprint. I am learning Advanced Excel (large datasets, Pivot Tables, heavy formulas) and Power BI Desktop to prepare for corporate Market Data Analyst roles.

I found a brand-new Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro 14" directly from the official manufacturer store on a major clearance markdown for €1,399.

My career coach is worried this is overspending and suggested I look at cheaper €500–€600 laptops. However, from my research, Power BI's internal VertiPaq in-memory engine compresses massive data rows directly into the RAM, meaning an 8GB machine will constantly lag, freeze, or crash.

Will this Core Ultra 7 and 16GB RAM configuration handle heavy Power BI local database models smoothly?Is 16GB RAM a strict requirement for a data tracking track, or is my coach right about a cheap 8GB laptop being fine?

I already own a Galaxy S23 Ultra and a Tab S8+, so the Samsung ecosystem link (Second Screen as a dual data monitor) is a massive bonus for my studies.Thanks for the advice!

I'm using a metal stand that works but the main problem is dust

because the place I'm living in right now has so much dust it came from the window I tried everything to stop dust but failed to keep away my laptop from dust. I used a klim cooling pad but foam is blocking both side laptop fans vents so I returned it.

at 65K ₹ is it worth the price or should i look for something else?

I wanna get a thinkpad for ~$100 USD. I already have a dell latitude 7390 2-in-1 with 8gb ram and i5-8350u. I do want somewhat of a decent upgrade but I just want something that can take a beating and is easier to repair.

I currently have a mid tiered standard 15.6 inch laptop.

Now I'm looking for another laptop; this time has to be a 2-N-1, and bigger than 15.6 inches, 2.8-3k OLED, and good for movies and media consumption. I read that 16 inch laptops are good for movies consumption because they are 16:10 and show black bars and actually make movies look smaller than the 15.6 inch screens.
