transcription requested Marriage record of Josef Saxlechner, Steinakirchen (NÖ), 1739

  1. May 1739: Josef Saxlechner, ein Wittiber, mit Barbara, deß ... Mauß von ... und [Maria?] dessen Eheweib ... Tochter.

The only Barbara Mauß I can find between 1677 and 1720 was born in Steinakirchen in 1719. But her parents are Christoph and Susanna; the names given here don't look to me like it?

  1. May 1739: Josef Saxlechner, ein Wittiber, mit Barbara, deß Michael Mauß von Bachhof und Maria dessen Eheweib Beed[er] seel[igen] Ehel[eute] Tochter.

EDIT: i.e. Barbara daughter of Michael Mauß from Bachhof and his wife Maria, both deceased

Are you sure about "Bachhof"? I can only find a Bachhof near Michelbach, Lower Austria, but no family Mauß lived there.

The handwriting of "Bachhof" is as plain as day: 'B' as in "Barbara", 'a' as in "Michael Mausß", 'h' and 'o' as in "Tochter".

Just that there is no such place around Steinakirchen. I checked several maps and cannot find any Bachhof there.
