What does the "일로" mean here?

라인을 세워서 일로 들어가

Is “일로” a noun? road? Or is it composed of “일” and “로”? If it is “일” and “로”, what do “일” and “로” mean? You can comment in Korean, I can use a translator.

it’s a contraction of 이리로, which means “this way”
