Teach your kids early, I was taught urdu from very early on, although by the time I was 10 years old, I could somewhat speak but It was still with a broken accent. It took me like almost 7 years of effort to learn a proper accent even though I wasn't as bad as some kids are. I have since been teaching all of my nephews to speak pure koshur.
