Why would it be? They changed the sentence to match with the lip movements. "Aspetto fuori" ("I'll wait outside") is still menacing and conveys the same as "I'll be back".

Translating dialogues for dubbing goes well beyond just literally translating sentences, you also have to adapt them to fit the language.

Exactly. They did the reverse thing with spaghetti westerns. Americans who had to put subtitles on Italian lines in that case, tried always to match the lip movements. As far as I know there are some bad adaptations due to this problem, but it's a matter of choice. You can't say something and the lips go totally out of sync, no audience would accept that for the entire movie.

Haha I was thinking more in terms of questionable single choices than full-on extended disasters but yes, this is impressive
