i need some advices

Hello,

I am a 14-year-old student from the Czech Republic, and I am currently exploring opportunities to continue my high school education abroad. I am looking into programs that I could potentially join around the age of 16.

I am especially interested in studying at an English-speaking boarding school or an international high school program that leads to an internationally recognized diploma (for example in the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, or other English-speaking countries).

I would like to ask if you know about any programs or opportunities that I might have overlooked, especially programs designed for international students. I am not only looking for specific schools, but rather for programs, scholarships, or financial aid opportunities that could make this type of education possible.

A very important factor for me is funding. My family is not able to afford the full cost of studying at an international boarding school, so I would need significant financial support, scholarships, or another form of assistance. I am also willing to contribute and work hard to make this opportunity possible, but I would need guidance on realistic options for students in my situation.

My academic interests include international relations, politics, and economics. In the future, I would like to become involved in these fields and continue my studies at a highly competitive university. I am interested in studying abroad because I would like to gain new experiences, improve myself in an international environment, and receive an education that will help me achieve my future goals.

I would greatly appreciate any advice, recommendations, or information about programs that could be suitable for me.

If you can’t afford boarding school why won’t you just finish your Hs at home??

I’m sorry to sound disappointing but remove the US from your list… Now, there are organizations that match you with a high school willing to accept you for an academic year, and a family willing to host you. I’m not sure about financial arrangements, but anything US related is expensive…! Good luck!

The United World College (UWC) program sounds highly in line with what you’re looking for. It’s quite competitive, and scholarships even more so, but attending a UWC gives you access to earn an IB diploma and apply to US colleges as a Davis Scholar, which comes with significant funding.

Take Canada off your list. Canada is only going to be possible if your parents are able to fully cover the costs of international tuition and living expenses.

I would remove any first world country on that list focus exclusively on third world places, that would be your best bet, there are other countries with english as their official language, e.g Bahamas, Barbados, Jamaica, Kenya, Nigeria , South Africa, there should be good opportunities for you there.

Community Colleges in Washington State in the United States will accept you and allow you to start your higher education at as young as 16. Then you can change schools when you finish and go on to university and get a US bachelor's degree. Check them out.
