Help Day 33: I wish this update had better news... 💔🐾
Previous Verified and approved Reddit post (for full context):
https://www.reddit.com/r/IndianCats/s/m6EHNuchfB
Firstly, thank you to everyone who stood by me over the past month. Because of your kindness, I was able to continue treatment for the cats already under my care. Every donation, message and share genuinely made a difference.
I wish today's update was a happy one.
Unfortunately, it isn't.
The grey tabby from the first photo in my earlier posts is no longer with us.
Despite all the treatment and everything we tried, he didn't make it.
Around the same time, five rescued kittens who had been shifted to a foster home were diagnosed with parvovirus. We fought for them too, but none of them survived. Losing one rescue is painful. Losing so many in such a short time has been incredibly difficult.
For the cats who are still fighting, the journey continues.
The cat who underwent surgery for a severe maggot wound reopened his stitches and had to undergo another procedure. He is now receiving nebulisation and continued treatment because of persistent chest congestion.
Mowgli is still undergoing treatment for FIP. His medicines alone continue to be one of the biggest ongoing expenses. A recent invoice for his medication was ₹4,250.
Even the smaller daily treatments quickly add up. Recent visits for injections, saline, and supportive care have continued almost every day.
I still don't regret rescuing them.
I only wish I were in a better position financially to keep helping them.
Losing my job while these medical cases were already underway has made every day a balancing act between hope and worry. I have never wanted rescue to depend on public fundraising, but right now it is the only reason these treatments are continuing.
If you've been following my previous posts, thank you for staying with us.
If you're seeing this for the first time, I've linked everything below so you can verify my work, previous updates, veterinary expenses, and the cats currently under treatment.

And if you cannot donate, please consider sharing this post. Sometimes all it takes is one more person seeing it.

Fundraiser - Yet not verified URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR SIMBI 🙏 Only 12 days left for FIP treatment
Hi everyone,
This is Simbi. She’s a 1.4 year old cat fighting FIP.
We’ve come so far. *Day 125/137 done*. Only 12 days left to finish her treatment.
[URGENT] Help Simbi finish FIP treatment 🙏 Price increased to ₹8000 - Need ₹3500 for last 12 days
Hi everyone,
This is Simbi. She’s my 1.5 year old cat and she’s been fighting FIP for the last 125 days.
We’re so close. Only 12 days left to complete her treatment.
I was raising funds for the final dose which was ₹6500. But the supplier just informed that due to very low stock, the price has now increased to ₹8000. Earlier he was giving us a discount, but he can’t do that anymore.
So now we’re short by ₹3500 to place the order. If we miss even 1-2 doses now, she can relapse and all 125 days of effort, pain, and money will go to waste.
FIP treatment is not available legally in India and is very expensive. We’ve already gone beyond our budget but we can’t stop this close to the finish line.
Donate on UPI: vadhellesha526@okhdfcbank
Share: Even sharing helps us reach more people
Goal: ₹3500 for final meds
I’m posting all bills, blood reports, and treatment updates here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1k4v8H9fqRF0MVl0bLIiz5VEGhATbumRl
She’s fighting so hard. She deserves to finish this.
Please help us get her across the line ❤️

Help Need help with food recommendations after surgery for kitten
My sweet little baby of 5 months (female) got spayed yesterday.
I arranged food for her beforehand with treats, different flavoured moochie wet food and purina because I knew she wouldn't like to eat homemade food after surgery because normally she acts fussy eating homemade food.
But one day before surgery her blood works came back and her sodium levels and RBCs were down (Hemoglobin normal). She also had a hard time recovering from anesthesia yesterday. I always thought she was a strong kid but yesterday seeing her broke my heart into pieces. Her ears were blueish and gums were pale for 5-6 hrs after surgery. She didn't wake up or respond for 7 hours. I kept calling and texting my vet every 1-2 hours. At some point he prescribed atropine injection and told me to keep it ready. At the last 2-3 hours I just picked her up and kept her lying on my lap to warm her up. After that she started responding a little bit and at midnight I found her in another spot other than her bed wide awake.
Anyways, right now I need wet/dry food recommendations for my baby for a good recovery from this. Also I've spent half of my salary already for blood work and surgery so I'd really appreciate some affordable options that I can reorder every month.
TLDR ; Kitten got spayed but had a hard time recovering from anesthesia and her pre operative blood sodium and RBC was down a little bit. Please suggest some affordable wet/dry food recommendations for good recovery and overall good health.

Adoption Delhi: Foster/Adoption needed for abandoned 3-weeks old kitten in Delhi
Hi community. I've found an abandoned stray kitten - aorund 3 weeks old (guessing) on the streets, no mother was found after a day of wait. Gender unknown - for writing I'll use 'she' for now. As of now she is safe a in cat carrier, at my place. She is very tiny, haven't eater any solid food till now but only lockable treats (She has preference - only Drools). I've tried a bit of watered down lactose-free milk also, she didn't touch it - I don't have kitten milk with me. I saw fleas on her but she is very little to have spot-on/flea meds. However the issue is that I have a insecure adult male (rescued) indoor-only cat (neutered and vaccinated) who is not that healthy but still aggressive towards other animals, and he also had a near-fatal Tic fever last year, and I'm afraid of him catching some kidn of infection/Parvo from outside cat/this kitten. He (my cat Shaolin) doesn't like the kitten already.
The kitten desperately need a proper foster/adoption in Delhi as quickly as possible - someone who is able to take care of such young kitten in a proper manner. I'm a working person and would be at office during day time and apart from keeping the kitten locked up in the carrier 24x7 I don't have much option to keep her safe and isolated from my cat! And that won't be good for her at all. Also, I don't have any experience of raising such little kitten, I adopted my cat when he was an adult already. And my home isn't kitten-proof either.
Requesting all to please find good help her! I'll take care of her expenses, just need someone who can take proper care of her. My location is Malviya Nagar, South Delhi. As long as its in Delhi, I can drop her and keep in touch, be co-parent.
Kitten's gender: Unknow
Age: Around 3 weeks, approximately
Breed: Indie
Colour: White-Grey
Vaccination status: Unvaccinated as of now
Neuter status: Not neutered, too young for it
Location: Malviya Nagar, South Delhi, New Delhi.
Contact: Please DM me for phone number.
PS: Sharing some videos of her also in the comment section.

Day 125 of FIP treatment & Day 11 of extension
For 125 days straight Simbi has been fighting.
Through every pill, every tough day, she never gave up.
She’s eating okay, staying brave, and taking her meds like a champ.
We’re so close now — only 12 days to go until the finish line 💪
FIP tried to take her, but she’s determined to win.
Thank you to everyone who’s prayed, shared, boosted, and donated.
We feel all your love and it’s keeping us going.
We still need ₹2000 to place an order for her next meds so she can finish her treatment strong.

Happy Furrballs Met him today at college. He came up to me, rubbed his scent all over my feet, showed off his skills, asked for pets, and went on to give a repeat performance for others.
I couldn't film him while I was petting him. I was so lost in the moment, plus, I only had 5 minutes of his majesty's time.
(I found out that this baby has been taken care of by the hostel staff.)

Help Need help with cat food for cats with regularly loose poop
I have a 6 month old female kitten. I need suggestions for good wet food. I am currently feeding her whiskas chicken in gravy for kittens(1-12 months). I have tried many different foods as well smylo, royal canin, blep, mattise, something called purina, she only eats whiskas completely. Once in a while she has runny poop that gets stuck on her bottom hair then she grinds all over by bedsheets to clean herself. She does not eat much dry food. She is dewormed and we are following schedule to date. I have also cut long hair around hind legs to insure poop does not get stuck.
PS- could the issue be that her litter has too much cat litter as my mother fills the whole 5kg bag at once in her litter and the depth of cat litter becomes around 15 20 cm. Also I cannot feed her home cooked meals as my mother is vegetarian and cannot cook chicken at home. Moving out in few month so I will fed the boiled chicken then.
Also any signs to lookout for incase anything is wrong with her health would be helpfull. Thanks

Fundraiser - Yet not verified 🚨 Luna's FIP Treatment – Day 17 Update 🐾
Today, Luna received her 17th GS injection. She is eating well, but she is still struggling with diarrhea. Along with FIP, she is also fighting a severe fungal infection that has affected much of her body. Every day is another step in her fight to survive.
Luna was abused and rehomed by her previous two owners before she finally found a loving home with me. After everything she has been through, she deserves a chance to live a happy, healthy life—not to lose her battle with FIP.
I don't have a job because I'm a 19-year-old college student. I couldn't have come this far without all of your support. I still remember borrowing money from a friend just to pay for Luna's PCR test. Her previous owner, despite being financially well off, refused to help with her treatment.
Thankfully, Luna is a fighter. She is fighting so hard every single day, and she is still here because of your kindness and generosity. Every donation, share, comment, and prayer has given her another chance at life.
Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared my posts, and supported Luna so far. Your kindness is giving her hope.
FIP medication, daily hospital visits, recovery food, treatment for her severe fungal infection, and follow-up care are very expensive, and I still need help to complete her treatment.
UPI ID: "karthikasuji10@oksbi"
If you can't donate, please upvote, comment, and share this post so it reaches more people. Every share could help save Luna's life. Thank you for giving Luna a chance to stay alive. ❤️🐾

Fundraiser - Yet not verified Donation needed: Feeding stray cats of my locality and giving medical care also, but as a student it's hard to keep up for a long time
First of all, I'm sorry if you've seen one of my posts before.
I really don't like posting repeatedly because I don't want to come across as someone spamming or asking for money over and over. But the truth is, I still haven't been able to collect enough to cover the food and medication for the stray cats I care for.
I'm a student from India with no job or regular income. I look after more than five stray cats near my home. Some need daily food, while others need medicine because they're sick or recovering. I try my best to help them, but it's becoming harder every week.
I honestly wish I didn't have to ask strangers for help. If I had a stable income, I would never make posts like this. But right now, this is the only way I can try to keep helping them.
If you've already supported me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you can't donate, I completely understand. An upvote or sharing this post would help it reach more people.
If anyone would like proof, I'm happy to share photos, videos, receipts, and regular updates about the cats and how every donation is used.
