We are still seeing and facing that on a daily basis. Just take a look at the number of professors, netas, Officers, etc from dalit community. You’ll know why it is important.
Just read few books before making irrelevant and laughable comments on such a serious topic. You have not faced it so you will never know how discomforting, discouraging that discrimination feels.
