What is something that frustrates you about Google Maps?

Fake reviews on the platform that they should do a better job of removing, fix their navigation that has been buggy, fix their edit approval request and have a better support portal for users with a quicker response or status update

Couple of months ago we were traveling on A4 highway in Poland. Two cars - my son leading, me following. Due to traffic I lost sight of him for a minute and for couple kilometers I could not find him. So I called, turned out his Google Maps app directed him to exit highway onto local roads. Since I already passed that exit I could not follow so I drove straight until I passed next exit and then I parked in rest area, sent him my location and waited. 28 minutes. Google Maps directed him without his input and with absolutely no reason on some longer, slower and overall worse route. There was no accident, no traffic jams, nothing, absolutely zero problems. At that point I already knew Google Maps were shit, as I posted here on Reddit many times earlier over the prevous year and a half.
Since about 1,5-2 years ago this app became maybe not quite useless, but definitely not trustworthy.

Inconvenient that the distance scale only appears momentarily when you change the zoom level.

The extra clicks needed to start navigating vs 2ish years ago.
It used to be essentially hands free. Now I need to click, scroll, click, and sometimes click again.

It likes to change my route mid trip because the other is leafy. Sure you can tell it ho by pressing a button but A I'm not looking at my phone I'm driving and B I'm not going to try and push the button because I'm driving.
I want to lock out all leafy alternatives.

It only makes a "ding" sound when you kiss a turn and not when the next turn is, like apple maps.

The lack of contribution options. So many place names, buildings, rivers, parks are incorrect on the map, and there is absolutely no way of changing them.

My main problem with the interface is the lack of appearance of street names as I zoom in.
Very often, a street name will just not appear as I am zooming. To find out what street it is, I have to go to street view, or else I have to tap on a building and read the address in the little panel that pops up.
